After tasting big success with ‘Simmba’ (a remake of the Telugu film 'Temper), B-town star Ranveer Singh and his team are scouting for popular Telugu movies to be remade in Hindi. “ The film, ‘Simmba,’ gave his image and career a new fillip, and now, he wants to follow it up with another Telugu remake to keep up the momentum,” says an industry source and adds “Already, the team watched Allu Arjun’s blockbuster ‘Julayi’ and liked it. But later, they dropped the idea for remaking it and are now looking for another star-studded film,”. The team members who are stationed in Hyderabad have also made a list of recent blockbusters like 'Bharat Ane Nenu', ‘Srimanthudu’, ‘Sarrainodu’ and ‘Dhruva’ and a few more big films. “Ranveer Singh is an energetic action star and is now looking for a role that would fit him. The actor will take a final call because he wants to enhance his larger-than-life image by picking another mass-centric Telugu movie. His team has been making a lot of enquiries about star films in the making as well,” the source points out. Actually, the ‘Goliyonki Raasleela Ram-Leela’ star joins the list of Hindi actors who tasted big success with Telugu remakes. Salman Khan leads the pack with 8-odd remakes from ‘Judwaa’ to ‘Kick’, followed by Akshay Kumar (Rowdy Rathore) and Ajay Devgn (Himmatwala). Now, Shahid Kapoor banks on the ‘Arjun Reddy’ remake to revive his sagging fortunes.
