NTR Kathanayakudu box office collection Day 1: Balakrishna's film collects Rs. 7 crore in Andhra Pradesh
NTR Kathayanakudu, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna and Vidya Balan in lead roles, released yesterday and the box office figures from the first day are out. As per certain reports, the film has opened to Rs. 7 crore in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states on the first day. The film earned significantly less on the first day as compared to Balakrishna’s last film, Gautamiputra Satakarni, which collected Rs. 9 crore. However, the film has opened to a decent figure in the US. It collected approximately $ 473K in the United States. Balakrishna and Vidya Balan got pretty good reviews from critics about their performances in the film.
We eager to find out how the film has fared overall. Since Petta and Viswasam have also released today, trade experts and industry insiders are busy covering the entire buzz around these big releases. We wrote in our review of the film, “NTR Kathanayakudu is inconsistent, chaotic and fails to keep you hooked to the screens throughout. It could have been shorter, crisper and more entertaining.
