[India], Jan 10 (ANI): The world of internet is inhabited by creative geniuses who work tirelessly to keep the meme game strong and it seems that their recent inspiration is the freshly released trailer of Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer 'Gully Boy.'

The trailer of Zoya Akhtar directorial, which released on Tuesday, was praised by many. The Meme generators too appreciated the film's tagline and catchy takeaway lines from the trailer in their own fun way.

Starting with the greatest meme-creator of them all, Mumbai Police took to their Twitter account to poke fun at Alia Bhatt's dialogue from the 2.42-minute-long-video. Alia Bhatt can be heard saying "Mar Jayega Tu" (You will die).

Captioning the still from the trailer where Alia says the particular dialogue, the Mumbai Police tweeted, "When he argues to ride a motorcycle without wearing a helmet."

A memer drew an on-point analogy between the emotions behind the tagline of the film, "Apna Time Aayega" (my time will come), to the feeling engineers get when they end up jobless after completing their education.

With the Indian Premier League (IPL) season just around the corner, the dialogue was also used to take a jibe at Royal Challengers Bangalore's performance in League so far, and their dreams of winning the trophy. "Apna time aayega... RCB winning ipl trophy," the tweet read.

Taking a dig at the content of Honey Singh's raps, a user Tweeted a still from the trailer where Ranveer Singh says "Ye dekh meri gaadi, mere joote, ye dekh daaru, chokri" (Look at my car, my shoes. Look at all this alcohol and this girl). "Yo Yo Honey Singh's entire career described in one line," the tweet read.

Making fun of the striking similarity between Alia Bhatt's outfit in the film and Olenna Tyrell's get up in 'Game of Thrones' series, a memer posted a picture of Alia from the trailer and wrote, "Tell Cersei. I want her to know it was me."

Going by all the memes out there, one can easily say that it is never a dull day in the meme world.

The film is all set to hit the big screens on Valentine's Day, February 14. (ANI)
