Professor Green CANCELS tour after fracturing his neck and suffering three seizures
Professor Green, whose real name is Stephen Manderson, has had to postpone his UK tour following an injury to his neck and multiple seizures.
The 35-year-old rapper was due to kick of the series of gigs tonight at The Globe in Cardiff, but suffered three seizures hours before the show.
He fractured the vertebrae in his neck after falling as a result of the seizures and was rushed to hospital.
Sharing a picture of himself on a stretcher with a neck brace after the fall on Instagram, Green said he fell while getting ready for the tour.
“I had a seizure this morning which resulted in a fall while I was packing for tour 1/3,” he captioned the image.
“Depending on how you look at this fall I was extremely lucky. I fractured vertebrae in my neck and subsequently had to cancel my tour that was due to start today.”
The hitmaker promised to return in the winter with a “bigger tour,” telling his 834,000 followers: “I’ll be back in the winter with a bigger tour.
“I’ve had two further seizures and am lucky I didn't break my neck. Really f***ing lucky. Thanks for baring with me.”
Praising the NHS workers who came to his aid following the fall, he added: “Most importantly thank you to our NHS, heroes amongst men (and women).”
Mor information to follow.
